latest updates?

Updates on Hari Koperasi.

Tempting cupcakes.

I spent a total of RM20, I think. Went for Haunted House, twice. Honestly it wasn't as scary as we would expected it to be but the sound system, the ghostly costumes plus the quite convincing makeups were yes, frightening. Aside that... I did not go for the water house this time. Don't you think it's just a faff, a waste of money? But I guess most people enjoy it.

Our class earned more than RM400, I heard. Such an accomplishment, isn't it? Awesome. If everyone pay up their monthly fees, we'd have just enough for a buffet (class party). But will everyone pay up? Ah... RM4 a month, that's mad.

Anyway, we celebrated Mommy's birthday on that day, last Friday. Had a pleasant, appetizing dinner at Kenny Roger's. Happy Birthday Mommy <3

Today's a Saturday and I went to school. *nods* Open Day. Thank God my form teacher did not say much, Mom too didn't say much. Oh, guys, NONE OF YOU CAME TODAY -.- well except for Aurelia, who left very early cause her mom arrived early.

I suppose everyone knows. The latest scandal, the King of Pop passed away due to a cardiac arrest. Utterly shocking, I thought it was just a fallacy but unfortunately, he's really gone now. Rest In Peace, Michael Jackson.

Wendy Yaw (dad's cousin) and Charles Chan's wedding dinner @ Sime Darby Convention Centre.

OMFG, one of the best days of my life by far. Keep reading.

Arrived there at seven p.m. sharp, but started about an hour earlier. Anyway, before the dinner started, there was this blonde girl that was like the apple of our eye at that moment cause well obviously she's blonde and she's definitely an Asian. So I continued staring at her and little did we know, when she introduced herself as the emcee, it was Serena C! From mix.fm!!! Such a surprise, I was fuddled but mostly overexcited to say Hi and get a picture with her! And I did!

The venue was just beautiful, great to have events like these here.

The bride and the bridegroom.

Yes, that's Serena C and yes, she's blonde, surprisingly. Oh, next to her is the bride, Wendy.

Serena C and I! I absolutely loved what she wore.

JJ Hitz!!! I actually have four pictures with JJ cause the rest were blur. Thanks camera and thanks Jo! JJ was just so nice and friendly, he even asked for our names :)

Mommy, Jo, the bride and I.

I <3 Serena C and JJ.

tweet tweet

Remember this, Huifern? I still like this. I just don't like the fact that there was an anonymous security guard at the back of me, looking directly at the camera, sighs.

I'm back on Twitter. http://twitter.com/roxie294/

I was a junior prefect temporarily last week, for only three days. Yes, I know it's short but before that I planned to not even start but I guess I had to. It wasn't that torturous but it wasn't fun either, haha. At least I've got to experience being a junior prefect and I now know a bit of how it feels like being one. About reconsidering being a prefect next year, we'll see.

Hopefully our class t-shirts are already ordered and let's cross our fingers that it'll be done before Hari Koperasi, which is unfortunately next week.

Will be attending a wedding dinner later. Signing off now.

short update.

I know I'm early but anyway, Happy Birthday, Kimberley.

Look! This was last year and your hair had a longer length and a darker colour... Anyway, speaking of this girl here, she goes by her nickname Kim or probably Egg. To crack after roll, that's her role, lol. She's crazy, a tomboy?, and Kim, Happy 15th Birthday. Good luck in life, and oh, not forgetting PMR. Make sure you study and make your parents and everybody else proud(I know I nag too much). And always stay optimistic. Life's all about ups and downs.

So, school was boring today. There was a talk for only PMR and SPM candidates. Nothing much happened. Played Truth-or-Dare.

Explore Race is postponed... again.

I'd say, the rest of my holiday?

Hello! I went to see another two movies recently. That means, I've watched a total of five movies within these two weeks of holiday. I'm glad I got to watch the movies I wanted to see. Yay.

Terminator Salvation was good. Well, obviously this is an action movie and throughout the whole film, the action was well executed. Terminator Salvation offers plenty of great effects. Many said that this fourth film is certainly a worthy entry in the franchise, well at least better than the previous one (Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines). Though I did not watch the previous Terminator films, but this one is good, really.

17 Again. An extremely enjoyable, heartwarming teen comedy. Starring Zac Efron, Leslie Mann, Matthew Perry and yeah, that's right, that's Michelle Trachtenberg there (Georgina Sparks, Gossip Girls). I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Zac Efron is definitely one of my favourite star and his charismatic good looks will mesmerize the audience into believing he can act. Besides a priceless smile and a few nifty dance steps, he excels at dribbling and twirling a basketball. And I'm quite a fan of Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing, Friends), who did not do a bad job either, same goes to Leslie Mann. I'd give two thumbs up for this one.

Anyway, I know it's the holidays and most of you us are just wanting to get out of the house. Thank you for asking me out (I'm talking to my friends here), I appreciate the thought. I'd love to catch a movie with you guys, go shopping or just hang out but one thing. My mom said the last time I went out (Pavillion, after the BOD after party thing)was the last time I'll be going out, until the end of my exams. She meant the big one. Yes, PMR. No, I did not talk back cause I told myself, I'm sticking to that. I am going to, cause I don't want any distractions from studying and revising and all that. Though I know I still am distracted by you know, well you know. Sorry girls, I'd have to wait until the end of ... PMR. That's not such a long way to go, it's in another few more months. We'll definitely celebrate after PMR.

Oh gosh, the holidays are going to end soon.

Alright, that's all for today. Signing off now, bye.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a factitious word alleged to mean 'a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust, causing inflammation in the lungs'.

It occurs chiefly as an instance of a very long word. The 45-letter-word was coined to serve as the longest English word and is the longest word ever to appear in an English language dictionary.

my oh-so-long-day

Yes, it was such a long day. Due to the traffic jam.

But, that's not the point. My family and I hit the road and took a day trip, outstation. Malacca. Before we headed to Malacca, we were at Seremban for a while, just to have lunch and ride around my dad's hometown. He told us, he used to play football at this field, which is now a shopping complex. Ah, how times have changed.

(I'm making this quick)

Anyway, here are photos from yesterday, at Malacca.

Don't know where this is, but it was nearby Muzium Belia...

Peace to the Out.

Lookie! Muzium Stadhuys! This was just for a photo, so yes, no we did not go in there.

Did a bit shopping nearby. Saw loads of Fedora hats of all designs, but did not buy though we were intending to.

The famous, historical Kota A'Famosa.

SALE! At Labelz. There were a few Adidas and Nike shoes at the price of RM100! Anyway, we were at the Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka Megamall. There were huge sales everywhere. Sis and I managed to get ourself tees from Brands Outlet Store.

Next off, more walking. Had a break, ate ice cream. Off to the Historical Museum of Malacca.

Notice anything odd here? It doesn't have a head.

Now this, is interesting. This is how Malacca got its name. If you've read on this, then you should know.

I loved all those models of ships they've got there. This here, was the biggest one.

We left Malacca at 6.00 p.m. It was considered still early, so I thought we would arrive home earlier than expected. Little did we know, there was a road accident that caused a massive traffic jam. The journey was utterly long and tiring. We arrived home at 11.00 p.m. We were supposed to be home fourty-five minutes earlier or so, but we had dinner before going home.

What a long day though it was such a trip to be remembered.

Movie Week

A penny for your thoughts?
I dreamt of what could be but would not. I missed all of that, I still do.

To sum up my whole week, it's not that bad. I've watched three movies. Yes, I went to the cinema three times. The first one I went to see was X-Men Origins : Wolverine, which was awesome, as I've mentioned before in my previous post. The other movies I've watched were Hannah Montana The Movie and Night at the Museum 2 : Battle of the Smithsonian.

Hannah Montana was nice to watch, some parts were a bit touching and I was even about to cry. I am totally a fan of Lucas Till. I love his shiny, glimmering eyes and his sweet cowboy smile. Girls, this is a MUST-watch movie.

As for Night at the Museum 2, I'd prefer this one over the first movie. I don't love this movie, it's okay for me, a few scenes were really funny. Did you know the Jonas Brothers were also in this movie? They were those adorable,(naked) singing angels.

For now, I'd love to watch 17 Again.

pretty much nothing but hey, here's something

Here's how my holiday went so far.

The weekend, Sunday. I wasn't feeling well. I had a sore throat and a slight flu. It started to get worse. My eyes started to itch. Now that, is how I tell when I really feel miserable.

The next day, the sore throat was still there. Drank gallons of water. Thank God, I felt much better then. But then, not so good, I had a bad period pain that lasted almost the whole day. I wouldn't describe that feeling as excruciating but the pain was slightly a bit worse than the previous times.

No worries, it didn't last till the next day. Ah, Tuesday.

Mom brought us to KLCC to watch one of the MUST-see movies, X-Men Origins : Wolverine. I can't tell you how great the movie was, but I enjoyed it so much that I'd love to watch it again. For those of you who don't know, Will.I.Am, from the Black Eyed Peas and Ryan Reynolds, starring in The Proposal and Definitely, Maybe, are also casts in the movie. Hugh Jackman is fourty-one years old and he is one heck of a hott guy. Watch the movie and you'll get hooked on him. Well, I am! and in fact, I'm hooked on the movie, still. I think it might be even better than the X-Men movies. So, yes, get my point? Watch it! (and you'll love it)

Speaking of movies, there are a few other movies I'm anticipating to watch. Hannah Montana The Movie, 17 Again, and I know these will be coming out not too soon but I'll let you know anyway. Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen. The first one was a pretty damn good movie and so, I must watch the second one! and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, a definite MUST-watch, too.

Aside the movie, I've done nothing much during the holidays. I'm still working on my assignments (kerja kursus, both History and Geography) and I've been doing some homework. That's about it, pretty much a dull, boring holiday.
