Sports Day & Sri Garden's IU Night

I guess some of you are anticipated with bated breath for the photos from Sports Day. I couldn't blog on Saturday cause Sabrina was here at my home, using the computer, transfering files into her pendrive and I attended Sri Garden's IU Night. Sunday... Sunday... my family and I went to Ikea, The Curve to check out more furnitures. So, finally, here you go!

First up, marching. Yes, we all know it's muddy and stinky at the field but I'm not going into that part. Let's look at the pictures, shall we?

Bakti! If you enlarge(you won't see me anyway, I was at the back) you'll notice that we were all wearing anak tudung, YES anak tudung with those purple caps. We were forced to, we had to look 'neat'. I know what you're thinking and visualizing. Exactly.

Sorry, no photos of the Budi team.

Bakti's cheerleaders.

The Taekwondo performance.

Rooba, Asyiqin and I.

Whatcha looking at?

Ah, I look nice here though tanned.

Asyiqin, me and Sab.

Cik Azlin and Hui Fern.

Haha - haha - Hui Zhi. Lol.

Yvonne, Hui Fern and I.

Trying to build their 'hamburger'.

Look at Angie speed!

Announcing the results.

Here's for you Angie, sorry couldn't take really good ones Congrats anyway!

Bakti's cheer won first place! After all those marching practices under the bloody hot sun, at the bloody muddy field, and the results of a tanned, uneven skin tone and dirty, stinky shoes - we came in second place. Murni was first. Though second, but it's at least something, better than a stick in the eye. Satisfied, enough for me. What I need to do now is apply whitening cream every single day.

Anyway the overall results - Setia took home the first prize, followed by Murni, Budi and Bakti.

Look at this, the details are as the following. It started later, around 7 p.m. but ended earlier, before 9.30 p.m. Feedbacks, em the IU was OK, I guess you could say well prepared but not many performances. Here's the full agenda:

Registration and arrival of guests
Arrival of VIPs
Singing of National Anthem and Interact Song
Roll Call
Grand Opening
America, Here I Come! Hai-Me-Lei-Ga! (Part 1)
Fashion Show
The Thriller
America, Here I Come (Part 2)
An Irreplaceable Performance
Souvenir Presentation

That little girl behind us was peeking under, lol.

Emcees for the night.

The Grand Opening.

The video presentation (America, Here I Come! Hai-Me-Lei-Ga! Part 1 &2) was hilarious, but a bit too long.

Dinner, 1901 hotdogs and some sweet drink which I couldn't even tell what was it, lol. Aside the drink, the hotdogs were pretty mouth-watering, also the free popcorn.

Apologies for the blur pictures, here's a couple of clear ones from the Fashion Show.

Here comes the Statue of Liberty.

Not forgetting the Earth Hour, which falls on the same date as the IU Night. They did switched off the lights, well most of the lights.

Singing Carrie Underwood's 'Before He Cheats'. Not bad at all.

The Michael Jackson dance, applause to this one!

And it ended, back to home. Dozed off, sleepy mode.

when nature's at sea

"I am a giant tree,
So beautiful and tall,
But one day you'll no longer see me,
For soon to the ground I will fall."

Being more environmentally conscious and adapting our lifestyle as to do less damage to the environment helps a lot in saving the Earth. Let's do that.

Just a quick wish.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (in advance) to JUEE!

Tomorrow (18th March) is the day that she'll be turning fifteen, so have a fantastic birthday.
She's probably known as the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed girl among others, the energetic and cheerful one? She's cute, she wears braces, likes HSM?.

Now here is a photo in 2006. The 'Chicken Little' family, yes I still remember it vividly.

OK anyway...

I've nothing to do during the holidays besides homework (which isn't done yet, but will be soon), finish reading BM novel "Panas Salju", and basically that's all. I know, boring.

Musica : Michael Jackson Kris Allen - Man In The Mirror

'friendly footing'? not anymore

Dear Anonymous,

How could you be so inconsiderate?

Here are some pictures that I took yesterday and today.

The big 'mop' pillow, nice to touch.

Aaaah, I love this L-shaped sofa set. It's white and pink! Simply fabulous. But like I said, it costs an arm and a leg. And in the end, we didn't buy anything haha.

Beautiful, isn't it? Very green. (Fyi, the party was at Lake Titiwangsa) Unfortunately it rained, but the party was still going on. Oh, and Jaden is six this year, so there were plenty of kids at the party, excluding us of course. Yes there were games, and no we did not join in, it's for below twelve year old kids! I wanted to play Pin The Tail On The Donkey :(

It's a badge for the Cherriff or Chief or something. Cool, aeh?

Look at this cake! Reminds you of Toy Story's Woody? *yeehaw!* Oh, and the icing was sweet. Yum, I want more...

Aww, the birthday boy looks adorable with the cowboy hat.

He was all heart today, helping people with their ice cream. God, the food was delicious, all Western-style. They had burgers, hotdogs, fish fingers, wedges, etc etc and for desserts - doughnuts, biscuits and ice cream!

Adorable, I know. Bryan, she was totally checking you out.

Meet Jordan. And as you know, that's little Bryan.
